_____One of many posters made for the Visual Arts Committee at UTK, it came somewhere in the middle of my time with them. Like all the other lecture series posters, I started with an image of the artist's work - and the poster evolved from there, focusing on the artist's name first, and other information down the line. Visually speaking, my goal was always to compliment the image of the work with the text - to make the text visually pleasing and interesting without dominating or distracting from the main photograph. Unfortunately, I missed Diana Al-Hadid's lecture - but her sculpture was fascinating to look at while I made the poster. Mouse-over for a detail.
